Counterfeit £20 notes awareness |

Dear Resident
Kent Police have attended 2 incidents locally this week where it has been reported that fake £20 notes have attempted to be passed for payment within shops. 1 incident in Sheerness today was attended by Local PCSO's who seized the items after the shop confiscated them from the person attempting to pay. Enquiries are ongoing to identify the person. Please be vigilant if handling cash, especially if you are a local business.
